Lucy’s Blog: Chow Brazil, Hola Uruguay !!!

Sao Paulo, Florianópolis and Porto Alegre, Brazil to Montevideo, Uruguay

Sorry it took me so long to write. I’ve been sooo busy.

In Sao Paulo we saw an amazing football museum featuring Pele and Ronaldo. We also visited Batman alley. It had lots of cool paintings!

We then went to Florianópolis. While there we went on a boat trip around the lagoon. When we got off the boat we swam in the water. Up the hill was a waterfall, but there was a trickle because it hadn’t been raining a lot. But there was water at the bottom to swim in.

The next day we swam at the beach and the water was so clear I could see the seaweed at the bottom.

After Florianópolis , we moved to Porto Alegre. There we saw an old port and we drove around on tricycles. I bought a instrument, but it broke two days after I got it. I was so sad. Then it was time to leave Brazil. I enjoyed my time in Brazil and all the fun things we did.

We got on a bus to Uruguay, but spending so long time on the bus grated on me. (I had to use that word for Mum’s ‘word of the day’ challenge). Finally we arrived in Uruguay and we looked at some cool buildings. We even saw a Carnival show. At the beach, we saw hundreds of dead jelly fish, though there were live ones is well.
