Bahai Blanca to Rada Tilly, Argentina

In Bahai Blanca we got to see some local Carnival street performances. We also did some errands before moving on to the next town – Las Grutas.

Mary and I got to stay up really late, as the Carnival performances only started at 10pm.

In Las Grutas, we stayed at a campsite. But, when we arrived we couldn’t turn the car back on. Some mechanics came with a computer to help start the car again. We stayed in Las Grutas for a night before driving to another town.

I love the little shopping trolleys they have here

On the way to the next town, we stopped for fuel, but when we got back in the car, it wouldn’t start again. So another mechanic got a device to start the car. Dad decided to got to a nearer town where there was a special VW mechanic that could hopefully fix the car for good. In this town, there was a cool playground with rings and a swing bar. The town was busy, it had a beach and there were some shops. We went to Western Union quite a lot of times.

Soon we drove to Trelew to test the car. On the way we saw a big dinosaur. Apparently in Argentina, they found the biggest dinosaur in the world. We also went to a dinosaur museum. We learned all about the different dinosaurs. But again, the car would not start and some mechanics came out with a computer to help start it again. We went to the mechanic shop and spent 3 hours there.

We went back to our town soon after and moved to a different place – a campsite. I banged my lip on the seesaw and my adult teeth started to move. I went to see the doctor and they told us to go to a dentist. The next day I saw the dentist and she took an x-ray. They told me I have to eat soft food only for 2 weeks until my teeth get better.

Next we stayed 2 nights in an appartment before driving toa different campsite. We sawa a penguin. Next we moved to Rada Tilly where it was really windy! So we watched a movie. Mum was trying to be innovate (another word of the day) where she put the screen for the mini projector we were using.

That is all for now.
